It's easy to replace a document or a form on an existing template. This is being done by first removing the old file, and then uploading a new file to replace the old file.
- Edit the template, and click on the cog next to the file you would like to replace.
Make sure you're editing the template, and not a single case created from the template. Also ensure that you have a locally stored copy of the file, since the next step will remove it from the template in Assently.
- Click remove.
Note that this will remove the file permanently from the template.
- Upload the new file, by clicking Select a document or Add more documents...
This file is replacing the old file that you just removed.
- In case you have multiple documents in the template, ensure that the order is correct. You can reorder the documents/forms by clicking the cog and using Move up and Move down.
These changes will apply to all new cases created from the template, and forWeb automation uses, all new visits to the short link.
